While it’s incredibly tough and versatile, Injectorplex is a great replacement for stainless steel gas and oil injection tubing. And it even works in the most extreme drilling conditions.

What Is Injectorplex?
Our Injectorplex oil and gas transport tubes are manufactured to survive in the harshest H2S environments.
Constructed from polyamide, our gas injection tubing is flexible and provides temperature and abrasion resistance. Unlike stainless steel, polyamide won’t crack, pit, or corrode.
This means that by switching to Injectorplex tubes, you can save the time, energy, and money you would have ordinarily spent on buying and replacing new stainless steel tubes.
Injectorplex tubes have many features, such as:
- High rigidity and hardness
- A significantly lower specific density than steel
- Dimensional stability
- Resistance to CO2 and H2S
- Being an inherent flame retardant (UL 94 V-0 at 0.4 mm)
- High resistance to accumulation of paraffin
- Excellent chemical resistance to bases, acids, solvents, and oil fluids in high temperature
- Resists acids and bases (pH 2 to 12)
- Great corrosion resistance
We offer two types of Injectorplex tubes: Titan capillary tubing (including Dual Titan Capillary Tubing) and Kryptonite capillary tubing.
Titan Capillary Tubing and Dual Titan Capillary Tubing
Titan is a high-performing thermoplastic tube with great mechanical properties. It is economical and provides resistance to H2S and corrosion.
Because it eliminates corrosion issues, Titan will help you save failure costs and time. It also has a formidable strength-to-weight ratio and maintains dimensional stability over wide variations in moisture and temperature.
Dual Titan is basically Titan but gives you more cavity access. It’s a paired thermoplastic tubing that provides tandem cavity use with simultaneous bi-directional operation.
Both Titan and Dual Titan use up to 25% post-industrial recycled content.
Kryptonite Capillary Tubing
Kryptonite is a linear, versatile thermoplastic tubing that offers the highest level of corrosion and strength resistance. Semi-crystalline and impact-modified, it has outstanding inherent flame resistance, toughness, thermal stability, and chemical resistance.
It also has a high strength-to-weight ratio and mechanical strength, and like Titan, maintains dimensional stability over variations in moisture and temperature.
Kryptonite’s Tensile Strength at Yield is greater than 17,000 PSI and only weighs 42 pounds per 1,000 feet. That means it’s much lighter than most stainless steel tubes out there. Kryptonite can also be milled, won’t kink, and won’t “ball up” like stainless strings.
Kryptonite is compliant with PFOS, RoHS, and PFOA regulations.
Titan Versus Kryptonite Capillary Tubing
If you’re looking for a cost-effective yet powerful tubing solution, go with Injectorplex’s Titan. These tubes provide great flexibility, thermal and chemical resistance, and power at a great value. If your drilling project needs multiple cavity access, consider getting Dual Titan. Both Titan lines will also help cut down repair costs, since they don’t gather scale or corrode, unlike traditional stainless steel tubing.
Kryptonite is more costly than Titan and Dual Titan, but offers even more protection against environmental threats. Consider getting Kryptonite if your drilling project requires you to deal with lots of chemicals, acids, bases, automotive fluids, and more. Compared to Titan and Dual Titan, Kryptonite’s semi-crystalline structure has superior toughness and resistance. It also offers the following:
- Resistance to all types of acids, solvents, fuels, and bases at high temperatures
- Resistance to refrigeration, brake, and transmission automotive fluids
- Resistance to flow (creep)
- Excellent mechanical properties
- Chemical resistance with minimal swelling or attack even under high temperatures
- Being an inherent flame retardant (UL 94 V-0 at 0.4 mm)
- Density of 0.0452 lb/in3, which is significantly lower than metal and lower than Titan (which has a density of 1.07)
